How time flies！ It seems to be yesterday when we stepped into the schoolyard. But the time to say good-bye to her is near to us day by day.

Here， my dear school gives me the warmest memories and the happiest moments. Undoubtedly our daily life in the school is tense and fulfilling. I feel so thankful to my dear teachers for their care and tenderness. Most of us being far from home， they then treat us as their own children， encouraging us to study harder， concerned about our health， happy with our progress. Strict though our teachers are， what they do benefits us a lot. One of the most unforgettable events is the hiking which covers about 35 kilometres. Thirty-five kilometres！ What a terrible distance for me！ Before that， I had never thought I could overcome such a long distance. However， the fact is that I make it with the encouragement from my teacher and help from my classmates. In this event， I gained the chance to strengthen my will and got to know the importance of persistence. How proud I was when I came to the finishing line. At that moment I felt I became a true man with a fearless heart. More importantly， I understand the significant of this event and the reason why we hold it annually for the new students. All this will be beneficial to my growth.

Another shining star in the river of my happy school life is the performance with my partners in 2013， when the cultural delegation from New Zealand visited our school. We were all excited that a chorus would come and perform together with us. We won resounding cheers and thunderous applause， which means a big success for the perfect cooperation with the guest performers. For me， a more exciting thing was the talk with their leader， an amiable mid-aged man. It was when we met backstage unexpectedly that our conversation began. He showed great interest in our country， our school life and our youngsters’ thoughts. Half an hour later， the pleasant talk ended with his warm invitation to New Zealand at any moment. I think I will. I will have the chance to represent my motherland and let more people know how great she is.

I know I’m so lucky that I can spend three years here. My experiences here have established a solid foundation for my life. With all of this， I will proceed without any hesitation to achieve my goal， to be a useful person to our society， to our country. （424 words）
