据菲律宾《商报》报道,2月13日上午,菲律宾华商联合总会工商委员会由执行副理事长庄金耀带领,与菲律宾股票交易所主管一同前往拜会菲律宾中央银行行长戴董戈,就联合总会工与菲股票交易所联合举办的财经论坛,进行研究。
在联合总会工工商委员会理事长陈本显的指示下,工商委员会将联合菲股票交易所,于2月24日下午举办“危机中觅寻商机”财经论坛,邀请五位财经工商界重量级人士主讲,包括菲中央银行行长戴董戈、总统经济顾问沙西道、菲股票交易所董事长维督、中国驻菲经济商务参赞吴政平、第一首都投资公司总裁西描示展。
五位专家将就金融风暴及开创商机的议题,逐一发表深入和精辟的讲话,探讨如何在逆境中觅寻商机,继续带动经济成长。同时,在讲解后将有问答部分,让观众向专家们提问。联合总会希望能藉此论坛及专家的讲解,为菲律宾经济指点迷津,早日走出经济危机阴影。
General Chinese Trader Union in the Philippines is going to hold a Finance and Economics Forum aiming at giving suggestions for the economy in the Philippines
According to the report by Chinese Commercial News in the Philippines, the Industrial and Commercial Committee of General Chinese Trader Union in the Philippines, led by TAN TIAN SIONG, the Deputy Director General, together with the director of Philippine Stock Exchange, visited Amando Tetangco, president of central bank of the Republic of the Philippines (BSP) for the discussion about the finance and economics forum to be co-organized by General Chinese Trader Union and the Stock Exchange.
Under the direction by JOHN K. TAN Director General of the General Chinese Trader Union, the Industrial and Commercial Committee will cooperate with Philippine Stock Exchange to hold a finance and economics forum themed as "Seeking Business Opportunities in the Crisis" on the afternoon of Feb. 24th. Five heavyweight lecturers are to be invited to speak on the forum, including Amando Tetangco president of central bank of the Republic of the Philippines (BSP), Sha Xidao the economic consultant of the President of the Philippines, Wei Du, the chairman of the board of directors of Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), Wu Zhengping the Economic and Commercial Counselor of China in the Philippines, and Ximiao Shizhan the president of the 1st Capital Investment Corporation.
One after another the five experts will deliver their incisive and penetrating speeches. They will probe into the topics in respect of seeking business opportunities in the adversity of the .nancial storm to push the continuous growth of economy. The audience may also challenge the experts after the speeches.
The General Chinese Trader Union hopes to provide some suggestions for the economy of the Philippines by means of this forum and the experts?comments, helping the country to cast off the economic crisis as soon as possible.
