1. offer vt. & vi.（主动）提出（愿意做某事），
自愿给予；提供（东西或机会）

He offered some useful advice.

（2） offer to do sth 主动提出做某事
The kids offered to do the dishes after supper.

2. respect vt. 遵守；尊敬，尊重

5. require vt. 需要；规定；要求
（1） require sth 需要……

（2） require + that从句
在动词require后面的宾语从句中，谓语动词要用“（should+）动词原形”的虚拟语气形式。
The manager required that we （should） work all night.

6. demand n. 要求；需要
Do you think they will give in to the terrorists’ demands？

注意：

7. suffer vi. 遭受（痛苦）
