或“Be quiet, please!”。到了课间休息时,他常说“Have a break, please.”。
Hurry up, please. We must get there before 5 o’clock.
It’s raining hard outside. Come in, please!
It’s too noisy here. Be quiet!
Always remember to be polite here.
Don’t talk loudly in the reading-room.
Don’t play computer games all day. You’re a student.
Never make such a foolish mistake again.
Never say that again.
Do sit down and have a good rest.
Do be more careful with your homework next time.
You get out!
You take your money away.
其否定式是在Let’s或Let us后加not。例如:
Let’s go home now.
Let us clean the classroom after school.
Let me give you a hand.
Let’s not talk about it.
Let us not worry about him. He has grown up.
如果要表示“让第三者做某事”时,可以用“Let him/her/it/them do sth”句式,其否定形式是在其前加Don’t,并将Let改为let。例如:
Let him come back soon.
Let them stay at home with their parents.
Let him not waste time./Don’t let him waste time.
Work hard, and you’ll succeed one day.(=If you work hard, you’ll succeed one day.)
Get up quickly, or you’ll be late for school.(=If you don’t get up quickly, you’ll be late for school.)
在反意疑问句中,如果陈述部分为祈使句,后面的简短问句常为“will you?/won’t you?”;若表示请求,也可以用“would you?/can you?/can’t you?”或“could you?”等。例如:
Listen to me carefully, will you?/won’t you?
Don’t be angry with me, will you?
Wait a moment, can you?
开头的祈使句后的简短问句为“shall we?”,“Let us/me/him/her/it/them do...”
Let’s go to school together this afternoon, shall we?
Let us go fishing, will you?
Let me have a rest, will you?
Let them play football with us now, will you?
