每年五月的第二个星期天是母亲节。在母亲节这一天，人们对母亲的爱会比平常更加感恩。但是母亲节的意义并不在于这一天人们该为自己的母亲做些什么，而是在于让人们知道母亲是这个世界上最伟大的人，她为我们所做的一切值得我们用一生去回报。

“O” means that she’s growing old；

“T” is for the tears she shed to save me；

“H” is for her heart of purest gold；

“E” is for her eyes which with love-light shinning；

“R”means right, and right

she’ll always be.

Put them all together, they spell “mother”.

A word that means the world to me.

M 代表她给予我百万样东西；

O 意味着她渐渐老去；

T 是她为育我成人而洒落的颗颗泪滴；

H 寓意她那金子般至纯至真的心灵；

E 是她那双闪耀着慈爱之光的眼睛；
