Thinking about Development Strategies of Intelligence Science and Technology Discipline

Abstract: According to the development situation of the discipline of Intelligence Science and Technology (IST) in China, the acquisition of achievements and the existing problems for the IST discipline have been analyzed. Then some development strategies for the discipline have been proposed. These strategies are to promote further development by united works, to revise the teaching program and plan of discipline with high standard, to create the competitive courses and textbooks with competitive consciousness, to reinforce the experimental and web teachings with great force, to set up a teacher team of the first level, to establish the teaching instruction committee of the IST discipline, and continue to declare the award right of the Primary Discipline Doctoral of IST, and so on. These strategies will be benefit to the IST discipline and discipline constructions, and will produce an active influence to it.
