教学目标(知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度和价值观):

1、能力目标:

(1)能过抓住主要特征,听懂描述人外貌的问句与答语。

(2)能熟练的运用所学句型及表达对人的外貌特点进行描述。

2、知识目标:

(1)能掌握以下单词:

curly, straight, tall , medium, height, thin,heavy, build, (be) of medium build ,

(2)句型

What does he look like ? He is tall. He has short hair. He is of medium build.

3、情感态度、文化等有关目标:

培养学生善于观察周围的人以及事物。诱导学生积极参与,充分调动学生的兴趣,注重培养学生的交际能力和自主探究的学习能力。让学生知道外表不重要,重要的是内心。

教学重点:

(1)掌握并能够听、说、读、写大纲要求的描述人物外貌特征的形容词。

(2)掌握相应的句型:what 引导的特殊疑问句的构成。

教学难点:

what引导的特殊疑问句及正确运用描写人物外貌特征的形容词的正确运用。

教学过程:

Ⅰ. Warming-up :Up down.

目的:引起学生的学习兴趣,激发学生热情。

Up, down, up, down, up up , down down.

Ⅱ. Presentation (Section A 1a)

1.Study the new words: 2分钟自学,2分钟针对难读单词前后二人小组研究互助

一学生试读

用漫画画人物教有关height,curly等单词。

Game(游戏): Speaker,Guess my mouth,Super hands

Test(测试):1a(每空一个字母!)

Match the words with the people in the picture. (1a)

学习课本的第一部分P49,1a先看图片,然后搭配图片和相关的外貌特征的词。

Now please look at P49, Use the letters to match the people in the picture with one of the numbered words. Write each letter next to a numbered word. You can use some letters more than once. Point out the sample answer. (Keys: c, f, a, a, d, h, e, b, g, e)

2. Study the new sentences (学习句型)

What does he look like ?

He is (really)tall. He is of medium build. He has short hair.

(1) 由歌声引出句型.操练“What does he look like? He is really tall.”注意be 动词和has的用法。

(2)Sing a song.

Ⅲ. Practice (Section A 1c)

1. Read the conversation and recite it.

2. Practice like the conversation according to some pictures.

Ⅳ. Listening (1b)

1. Look at the picture of 1a, listen and fill the blanks in the picture. (1b)

Listen carefully and fill in the blanks and find Amy’s friend? We will listen twice.The first time, just listen.The second time,listen and fill in the blanks.And say the look of Amy’s friend.( He's really tall.And he has curly hair.)

Ⅴ. Summary & Emotional training(总结及情感培养): It’s not your appearance but your heart counts.’

教学反思:

本课上,本人在教学设计、理念上下了很大的功夫。

好的地方:

1.教学上采用漫画的图片,容易引起学生的兴趣、共鸣,更易于开展教学工作;拉近师生间距离,又能达到练习和巩固句子的效果。

2.在教学中可以穿插同学的照片或描述,既贴近现实,又增进了教师和学生间的感情,也使课堂气氛更加热烈。

3.有利于培养学生独立观察、思考的习惯。

不足之处:

1.因为本单元是描述人物的面貌特征、爱好,提问和小组活动较多,基础较差的同学会感觉比较吃力,难于参与教学活动。

2.教师要充分利用多媒体,丰富课堂。
