高考英语试卷中，介词虽不如名词、动词、形容词和副词等实词考查的频率高，但在短文改错和语法填空中经常出现。有些介词不能按照汉语的思维来记，现将一些常用的特殊的介词总结如下。
一、不都用by表示“被，受”
受……欢迎 be popular with / among sb.
不受……欢迎 be unpopular with / among sb.
被……录取be admitted to / into ...
被雨淋，赶上大雨 / 交通高峰 be / get caught in a rain / heavy traffic
被大家知道be known to everyone
被某人熟悉sb. be familiar with sth. / sth. be familiar to sb.
二、不总用of表示“的”
……的故乡home to ...
……的入口 / 答案 / 笔记 / 解决方法entrance to / answer to / key to / note to / solution to ...
到……的旅游者visitors to / travellers to / tourists of ...
……的原因 the reason for ...
……的起因 the cause of ...
……的天赋have a gift for ... / have the gift of ... / have a talent for ...
……的爱love for ...
This is a way to show a mother’s love for her children.
这是妈妈向她的孩子表达爱的一种方式。
……的标志sign for ...
……的日期date for ...
三、可用不同的介词表示“用”
用（英语，钢笔）写 / 说 write / speak in （English）
write with （a pen）
用这个方法，通过这种方式with the method / by this means / in this way
四、可用不同的介词表示“对”
对……感兴趣be interested in ...
对……吃惊 be surprised at ...
对……担忧be worried about ...
be concerned about / over / for ...
对某人诚实 / 有耐心be honest with sb. / be patient with sb.
对……有影响 have an effect on ...
对……的态度 attitude to ...
对……友好be good to ... / be friendly to ...
对……有害do harm to ...
对……尊重show respect for ...
对……负责be responsible for ...
对某人的年龄来说for one’s age
He is mature for his age.
对于他的年龄来说他成熟了。
五、不都用from 表示“从”
来自（中国）come from （China）
从错误中学习 learn by one’s mistake
从那时起from then on / since then
从……判断judging by / from
从（梯子，自行车）上摔下来fall off（the ladder / bike）
六、不都用with表示“在……下”
在某人的帮助下 with one’s help
在某人的指导下under one’s direction
七、不都用in表示“在……方面”
在重量上in weight
在……有麻烦 / 困难have trouble / difficulty with ...
帮助某人……help sb. with ...
花费在…… spend ... on ...
八、不都用to表示“与”
与……不同be different from ...
与……结婚be / get married to ...
与……订婚 be engaged to ...
与……相似be similar to ...
九、一些及物动词后跟宾语，不需要用介词，但受汉语影响容易误加
为……服务 serve sb.（习惯误加for）
进入教室enter the classroom（习惯误加上into）
返回英国return to England（习惯误加上back）
重复某人的话repeat one’s words（习惯误加上again）
从地震中幸存survive the earthquake（习惯误加上from）
谈论关于…… discuss sth.（习惯误加上about）
