The Bear and the Sisters

Two sisters were playing games on the bank（岸）of a river. They were playing happily. One of them was named Janny, the other was Rose. While they were running to the foot of a hill, they saw a big brown bear（熊）standing before them. They were very frightened（受惊吓）。They ran away at once.

“Please don’t run! I won’t eat you. I’m a man, not a bear, I’m friendly,?the bear said. The two girls looked at the bear:they bear stood up , his hair（毛，头发）all fell away（落下来）.There, a young man stood, he was tall, he had good lookds（模样）”It’s lucky（幸运）for me to meet you ,you can save（救）me, ”he said.

“Who are you ?How can we save you?”

.”“I’m Scoff. My father and mother don’t know I’m a bear now, they are always（一直）looking for me. They don’t know where I am. I see them often（经常）,but I cannot talk to them . Let me tell you something about me. ”

She said, ‘Only when you meet two girls on the bank of the river, and one of them is willing（愿意）to be your wife（妻子）cam you be a man again（再，又）’oday, it’s my good fortune（好运气）to meet you here. If one of you is willing to be my wife , you can save me.”The two sisters’faces turned red, the younger sister said,“If we can save you , I would like to be your wife.”he prince said,“Thank goodness! Thank you very much . From now on , we’re brother and sisters, the old woman cannot do anything to me. Let’s go home, my father and mother will be very happy to see us.?The prince took the two sisters to his home. The prince became the king, they were very happy.

熊和两姐妹

有两姐妹在河边做游戏。她们玩得非常开心。一个名叫珍妮，另一个叫罗丝。当她们朝着山脚跑去的时候，看见一只棕熊站在她们前面，这只熊很大。她们吓得赶紧跑开。

“请别跑！我不会吃你们。我是人，不是熊，我是友好的。”熊说。这两个女孩看着熊，只见熊直立起来，身上的毛全落到了地上。在那里，站着一个青年，高高的个子，模样英俊。“遇见你们我很幸运，你们能救我。”他说。

“你是谁？我们怎么能救你？”

“我叫斯格夫。我父亲和母亲不知道现在我变成了一只熊，他们一直在寻找我，不知道我在什么地方。我看见过他们，但是，我无法和他们说话。我给你们讲一讲我的故事吧！”

“我以前是一个王子，”这个青年说，“一天，我在河边玩，一个老太婆走来，嘴里念念有词。她把一件褐色外套朝我丢来，就这样把我变成了一只棕熊。她说：‘只有当你在河边遇见两个女孩子，并且她们之中的一个愿意做你的妻子，你才能再变成人。’今天，我在这里遇到你们，是我的运气。不知道你们俩有没有一个愿意做我的妻子。如果愿意，你们就能救我。”两姐妹的脸都红了。妹妹说：“如果我们能救你，我愿意做你的妻子。”王子说：“谢天谢地！太谢谢你们了。从今以后，我们便是兄弟姐妹，老太婆再也不能对我为所欲为了。我们回家吧，我的父亲、母亲看见我们会非常高兴的。”

王子把姐妹俩带到他的家。王子后来成了国王，他们生活得非常幸福。
