生命灵动的生成

摘 要:课堂是师生相遇相知的地方,彼此言说倾听的场所。在英语教学过程中,充满着动态资源生成的课堂才是有生命力的课堂,教师应善于捕捉和利用课堂上的动态生成性资源,因时、因地、因人、因势、因情去作灵活、及时的应变处理,使教学过程成为师生互动、互促、教学相长的过程,成为激发师生的生命潜力、焕发生命激情的过程。

曾经在书里面读到一首小诗《其实有一百》:

孩子是由一百组成的,

孩子有一百种语言,

一百只手,一百个念头,

一百种思考问题的方式,

还有一百种思考问题的方式,惊讶和爱慕的方式……

在课桌间穿行这么多年,一百次地回味这首小诗,也就有一百种不同的认识,也感到教育责任的庄严与神圣。用心聆听、用心感受、用心阅读孩子们,我感慨任何生命,无论大小,都是独一无二的,他们也有自己的精神世界和独特的思维方式。在教学中,他们思考问题的方式,常让我惊讶,令我折服!

[课堂片段一](T-Teacher, S-Students)

T: What is a programme?

S: 节目。

S: 计划,规划……

T: Yes. A programme is a set of planned activities or training, which has a specific purpose. In some foreign schools, there are programmes to prevent the children from dropping out of the school; programmes to promote the school food safety, etc. Now work in pairs and make sure what a programme usually includes and then write your ideas on the blackboard.

课后反思:我的预设是想引出本环节的重点: programme所包涵的五个要素,为下一环节日期、星期以及时间的缩写表达法做铺垫。学生在黑板上写出了八个要素。设计这个环节时,我考虑到了一定不会只写出书上要求的五要素,所以这个环节我没有使用PPT, 而是采用了动态的黑板板书。教师教学的灵气取决于教师心里是否装着学生。如果教师一个劲地把学生引向想要的答案,教学会失去许多生成性的信息。

T: Here is my programme of the National Day holiday. Do you want to know more about my programme?

S: Yes.

T: Now ask me some questions using the five sentence patterns.

Five sentence patterns(教师在上一个环节已经板书):

1. When will you ...?

2. On what day will you ...?

3. At what time will you ...?

4. Where will you ...?

5. What will you ...?

S: Why do you choose to go shopping during the holiday since it will be very crowded?

T: You know I have a very busy life every day, so it is a little difficult for me to do shopping.

T: I am to attend a get?together of old classmates.

S: Will you see your former teacher?

T: Of course! My head teacher is a humorous man. Now he is over seventy. Is he still healthy? Can he recognize me? Oh, Im curious about that.

S: Xiamen is a most beautiful city. I know the TV play, “Lets Go to Watch the Meteor Shower” is set in Xiamen University. I am longing to go there. Have you ever been there?

T: Never. Last year, Michael was admitted to Xiamen University. In order to prove he has grown up, he refused my request to accompany him to the university. But Im curious about his college life, his studies, his activities and his love story (laughing).

S: You said you were busy teaching, and you will have a little break. I think you should make full use of time to relax yourself. Why do you make yourself so busy during the holiday?

课后反思:所谓的五个基本句型是我在上一个环节就已经板书在黑板上,我的目的是想让学生训练这五个基本问句,以备这堂课的最后一个环节使用。没想到学生的问题基本与五个基本问题无关。因为五个问题的答案在我展示的表中已经给出,学生想探寻的不是已知的东西,而是未知的世界。特别是上面的最后一个问题更是令我始料未及的,学生的思维是多么奇特啊。可见,教师在预设的时候,常常会从一些常规的角度或主观的想法去思考、去设计。而课堂的教学是动态的,每时每刻都可能生成新的课程资源,即动态生成。上面的这几个对话的出现是我没有预料到的。无法预约的精彩是教育智慧的结晶,是神来之笔,而不是刻意追求的结果。这个小小的意外,让我收获到了不一样的精彩。学生思维活跃,许多精僻的问题更让我欣喜若狂。我紧紧抓住这一稍纵即逝的教学契机,与学生互动,平等对话,让学生的思维得以驰骋,从而让课堂教学走得更深、更远,收获着不曾预约的精彩。

T: Next, you are required to make a National Day holiday plan for yourself. You neednt make a detailed plan, but just draw a timetable like me. Clear?

S: Yes.

(Two minutes later)

T: Have you finished your timetable?

S: Yes.

T: OK, next you are to do pair work. Talk about your plan, and then two or three pairs will present their mini?talk.

课后反思:这是课堂的最后一个环节,用刚才所学的知识,制作一张国庆节假日活动的时间表,然后要求学生两人一组编小对话,谈论刚才制定的活动时间表。这一步,不仅再次温习巩固“programme”的几个基本要素的表达方法,还锻炼了学生的创新能力和合作精神。原本只想要两到三对展示对话的,结果下课铃响了,举手的人还很多,我只好把这个环节延伸到第二天的课上。有的说要出去旅游;有的说去看爷爷奶奶、外公外婆;有的说做个社会调查;有的说到阳光孤儿院做义工;有的说作业多,还有的说想去钓鱼……最后我发现有一双手还在犹豫地往上举,这是两个平时学习很用功的学生,在这样活跃的场面他们为什么胆怯了?我想听听他们的计划:

S1: What are you going to do during the holiday?

S2: Just stay at home. It is said that well have monthly tests after the holiday, so our teachers must assign a lot of work for us to finish, and my mother must say I must study hard. Dont you think your holiday will be ruined by them?

S1: I cant agree with you more. I dont suppose I will have a real holiday. So I want to say, “No homework!”

说到这儿,所有的学生都为他们鼓起掌来!他们道出了所有学生的心声。这堂课留给我很多与本课题无关的思考……

“有一千个读者就有一千个哈姆雷特”就是对此做出的最好解释。

结束语

课堂是生命涌动的场所,教师要张开心灵去倾听孩子们生命的声音,要极尽智慧引领孩子们走向生命的成长。千万不要错过一次又一次让生命灵动生成
