善意谎言有时是美丽的。当我们为了他人的幸福和希望适度地说一些小谎话的时候,谎言即变为理解、尊重和宽容,具有神奇的力量。美国短篇小说《最后一片叶子》或许就是善意谎言的代表:当生病的老人望着凋零衰落的树叶而凄凉绝望时,充满爱心的画家用精心勾画的一片绿叶去装饰那棵干枯的生命之树,从而维持了一段即将熄灭的生命之光。然而,我们不能以“善意”为借口而随意说谎,无论出发点是什么,谎言很多时候都会造成不可收拾的残局。

但是,小心的措辞和彻头彻尾的谎言界线在哪里?
