1. mind作名词,意为“思想,想法”,如:change one’s mind (改变主意),make up one’s mind (下定决心)等。

2)“Do / Would you mind doing ...?

“Do / Would you mind doing ...”

Would you mind our / us listening to the light music when you are reading English?

Do you mind turning off the radio?

3)在回答“Do / Would you mind doing ...?”或“Do / Would you mind if I do ...?” 若表示同意,就用“No, not at all. / Of course not. / Certainly not. / No, do it please.”若表示不同意,则用:“Sorry, but I do. / I’m afraid.”例如:

—Do / Would you mind turning off the computer for me? —No, of course not.

—Do / Would you mind if I take your temperature? —Sorry, but I do.

tionary.

—Never mind. Here is mine.
