Oricon, famous for its Japanese record sales charts, recently held a survey[调查] to discover which 20 manga fans would most like to see adapted[改编] into a feature film.

The results were announced in the March 17th edition of weekly entertainment magazine Oricon Style, and the survey itself is based on an Oricon Monitor Research Internet survey of 1,000 respondents[回答者]. The survey sample included junior high, high school, vocational school[职业学校] and college students, as well as men and women in their twenties, thirties, and forties.

Number one on the list was Takehiko Inoue's basketball classic SLAM DUNK. Other popular series included Detective Conan, Ouran High School Host Club, Urusei Yatsura, and Doraemon.

Minami Takayama is a seiyuu, or voice actor, and a popular singer in Japan. She was born zumi Arai?on May 5, 1964. She has an amazing ability to portray[饰演] a wide range[范围] of personalities, whether male or female, and has now established herself as one of the top seiyuu in Japan. Her most acclaimed[受称赞的] roles include Tendo Nabiki in Ranma 1/2, Kiki in Kiki's Delivery Service and Conan in Detective Conan.

Not satisfied with being confined to the role of seiyuu (though she has proven she is among the very best in that field), Takayama Minami's vocal[声音的] talents are put to better use in all manner of entertainment media. Her unmitigated[未缓和的] success transcends[超越] anime, and she has become an icon of Japanese popular culture. Whatever she decides to do, you can bet millions will be listening.
