Abstract. Practice teaching plays a very important part in the business English professional personnel training system, and is the key not only to integrating and connecting relevant knowledge, and promoting the coordinated development of a variety of skills, but also to cultivating the application-oriented personnel who can meet the requirements of the development of social economy. In this paper, the author carries out an analysis on the current situation of the practice teaching of business English, and also makes a construction on the practical teaching system of business English according to the characteristics of its own and the demands of talents in society.

1. Introduction

Along with the development of the economic globalization and modern society, the scales of exchanging information with the outside world are enlarged increasingly more greatly with each passing day, and simultaneously the needs of the entire society on the advanced business talents and application-oriented talents, who not merely are proficient in foreign languages (english primarily) and also know well the modern business skills, are in a constant growth. Therefore, cultivating a large number of international personnel who own an international vision as well as a good knowledge of international rules, affairs and competitions has converted to a very important historical mission of higher education under the new situation in China. Therefore, it is necessary for us to carry out researches, constructions and practices on the practice teaching system of business English program.

2. Problems in the Practice Teaching System of Business English Program

First, there are fuzzy understandings of the objectives of practice teaching. Business English program is a comprehensive subject, which integrates theory courses and practical courses together and is intensively oriented at application. A wide range is covered by it. As a newly-offered program, its subject orientation is still far from being clear and definite. In the mean time, it remains very fuzzy about what goals the practice teaching of the program should achieve and what abilities of students should be trained, etc. In addition, there has been no a scientific and reasonable practical teaching system constructed for Business English program yet. Second, teaching contents in business English program are boring and dull. Currently, the teaching contents in business English program are not only boring and dull, and also not enough comprehensive; a relatively complete practice teaching model can't be established for it. Third, teaching methods are out-of-date. Some traditional teaching methods and means are still being applied in current business English program.

3. Construction of the Practice Teaching System of Business English Program

On the basis of introducing advanced domestic and foreign experience, it is necessary to combine inside-school and outside-school centralized and decentralized ways and make full use of modern science and technology in construction of the practice teaching system of business English program according to the actual conditions of school. Also, in simulation or real training environment, it is necessary to provide students with the trainings of language skill, business skill, cross-cultural communication ability, cultural quality and comprehensive ability, for the purpose of training students with solid basic English skills, powerful language application ability, broad international vision, special international business knowledge and skill, theory and knowledge in modern international economic cooperation, international trade, business negotiation and business management.

3.1. Module of Language Skills

The module of language skills comprises of English listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating skills. Along with the vigorous development of international trade and the acceleration of global integration, English has become an international language universally, and also is one of the most important points of business English program in Chinese higher learning schools to train inter-disciplinary personnel.

3.2. Module of Business Skills

The module of business skills comprises of the practices and documents of import and export, business correspondence, business negotiation and others. Based on the actual needs of students and after the courses of economics, international trade, and international finance have been taught to students, students from sophomore to the junior or senior can be trained with special business skills, including the enquiries, offers and counter offers of import and export goods, the signing and performance of import and export contracts, the customs clearance process, the solutions to trade disputes, the international payment and settlement, the issuing, review and revision and settlement of notes, the writing, sending and receiving of foreign trade correspondence, the business negotiation process and skills, etc. The purpose of all these is helping students get a good understand of business flow, operation and specific operation methods in practical links, and also laying a solid foundation for students in a business job in futures.

3.3. Module of Cross-cultural Communication Ability

The module of cross-cultural communication ability comprises of intercultural business communication theory, international business communication, international business etiquette, international business negotiations, international business cases, international business culture, and public speaking and so on, aiming at training the cross-cultural business communication ability off students and promoting them to have a cross-cultural character.

3.4. Module of Cultural Quality

The module of cultural quality comprises of political, military, social practice and innovation elements, aiming at cultivating of the Cultural Quality of students.

3.5. Module of Comprehensive Ability

The module of comprehensive ability comprises of business practices and graduation thesis of students.

4. Implementation of the Practice Teaching of Business English Program

4.1. Constructing training bases & improving practice teaching conditions based on practices

Practice teaching conditions and especially the practical training bases are the most fundamental guarantees for the effective implementation of practice teaching.

4.2. Training students' practical ability by stages based on the practice teaching system

According to the five modules of the practice teaching system of business English program, namely, language skills, business skills, cross-cultural communication ability, cultural quality, and comprehensive ability, it is necessary to carry out integration training from the shallower to the deeper, the low to the high, and the single to the comprehensive for students, aiming at creating conditions and environments as far as possible, making elaborate organization and preparation, and allowing students to take practices n the real or simulated environments, and training the practical ability of students by stages. Therefore, the practical ability of students can be improved and also their professional ability can be formed with a gradual step, so as to adapt to the needs of society in the future.

4.3. Changing the teaching methods of practical courses

Business English is a subject that is highly oriented at practices. Therefore, in practice teaching, it is necessary to place the training of business skills in an outstanding position and carry out it using English as the teaching language as well as target language of practical courses, and thus the trainings of language practices and business operation skills can be integrated. In the mean time, in the setting of practical courses, it is necessary to pay special attention to the link between courses, the consolidation and development of knowledge and skills, and the training of professional skills and vocational abilities.

4.4. Stabilizing and expanding outside-school practice bases, trying to improve the quality of professional practice and educational practice

The construction of practice bases is an important part of higher education, and also one of the most fundamental conditions for training the high-quality and application-oriented specialized personnel. The construction of practice bases can be divided into two aspects, which are inside-school and outside-school training base constructions.

4.5. Evaluating Practice Teaching Comprehensively and Effectively

Evaluating practice teaching comprehensively and effectively is very critical to the construction of an open practice teaching system. The evaluation methods can be concluded as follows. First, in the way of evaluation, it is necessary to combine process evaluation and final evaluation.

4.6. Strengthening the Construction of Teaching Staff Greatly

According to the current situation of teaching staff, the objectives of the construction of teaching staff should be oriented at constantly optimizing the structure of teaching staff, making every effort to improving the academic and teaching qualities of teachers, and enhancing teachers' scientific research and practice abilities. Ultimately, a teaching team, which possess new educational ideas and a strong sense of reform and also are full of vigor and vitality, can be formed. Specific measures for achieving these objectives are as follows.

5. Conclusion

From above analysis, it can be known that the improvement of students' practice ability and innovation ability can be effectively promoted if a comprehensive practice teaching system as well as practice teaching conditions can be constructed, and thus graduates from school can be popular among employing units. Meanwhile, the design, implementation and operation of practice teaching system are a process, which requires an exploration for a long term. How to carry out a scientific and reasonable integration is particularly important. First, it is necessary to integrate the practice teaching system itself, namely the dynamic integration of the objective system, content system and guarantee system of practice teaching, for the purpose of playing the whole effect and realizing the integral goal of practice teaching. Second, it is necessary to integrate practice teaching system and theory teaching system. How to make the two sides complement each other and tightly close with each other and promote the smooth realization of personnel training objective needs people to make further exploration and innovation.
