People Voice 生人语调
Meaning: A people voice is the voice that someone uses when talking to people who aren’t their friends.
“生人语调”指人们在跟陌生人或者自己不太熟悉的人说话时的语调。
—Did you hear how sweet Linda was just then? She never sounds like that normally!
你听到琳达刚才有多甜了吗？她平常都不像那样说话！
—Yes, she often uses her people voice when she’s talking to customers.

Girlfriend Voice 女友专用调
Meaning: The change in pitch or tone of a man’s voice when he’s talking to his significant other.
“女友专用调”是指男士在跟自己的另一半说话时声调和语气上的变化。
A man will usually receive a fair amount of ridicule when he uses his girlfriend voice in the presence of other men.
有其他男士在场的情况下，如果有男士用女友专用调说话，通常会被嗤之以鼻。
长期处于一种语言环境中，潜移默化之下就会形成独特的一种语言，比如下面要说的MBA语言：
MBAese MBA 语言 Meaning: The indecipherable[无法破译的，难以辨认的] language taught on MBA courses where the speaker masters the art of using large, multisyllabic[多音节的] words to make meaningless, intelligent sounding action statements.

The people voice is automatically happier, nicer and sweeter than someone’s normal voice. It is often high pitched and used when answering a telephone or when working in retail.
生人语调一般都不自觉得比正常语调要显得更快乐、更友好也更甜美，而且声调通常也比较高。人们在接电话或者在零售业工作的时候会用这种语调说话。
