There are many ways to learn English, I think. Such as English conversation (会话) ,writing diary,listening to the radio and so on.

To learn new words is difficult for us students. A good method is to concentrate(集中) new words according to the same vowels (元音). In this way, I could read and write about five hundred new words ①at the very beginning of the first term in Grade One.

In class, when the teacher asks us some questions, I'll try my best to answer them. After class, ②we have dialogues.

When there is an English conversation, I prepare for a main topic and take an active part in it. I act as a doctor, a shop assistant...It's very interesting and good for us.

Every day, I spend five minutes on listening to the radio, and have a dictation by myself, then recite these short paragraphs. If there is an English teaching on TV or English film,I'll watch and listen carefully and try to catch the main meaning.

Doing more reading is useful to us. Such as newspapers, magazines, all kinds of books. With the help of the dictionary, I've learned a lot. Sometimes I write diaries or short stories in English.

I'm interested in learning English songs. One day, an American friend who works in our ③factory came to our school, ④and we had a talk and sang American songs together with him. This made him very happy. ⑤And me, too.

Now I've made great progress and got good results in all kinds of tournaments(比赛).

我认为学习英语有许多种方法。比如：会话，写日记，听收音机，等等。

对我们学生来说，学习生词是有困难的。一种有效的方法就是把含有相同元音的生词集中起来学。用这种方法，在一年级上学期，我学会拼读、拼写约500个生词。

课堂上，老师问问题，我尽量争取来回答。课后，我经常进行会话练习。

每次举行英语会话表演时，我都准备一个主题，积极参加，我扮演医生、售货员……这对我们大家来说，是很有趣的，而且也很有益处。

每天，我都要收听五分钟英语广播，并且进行默写，然后背诵部分段落。如果电视上有英语讲座或英文电影，我总是认真看，仔细听，力求捕捉住主要意思。

多读是很有帮助的。例如：读报纸、杂志以及各种书籍。借助字典，我已学会了许多知识。有时候我还写英语日记或短篇故事。

我对唱英文歌曲很感兴趣。一天，在我们校办工厂工作的一个美国朋友来到我们学校，我与他进行了交谈并和他一起唱美国歌曲，这使他很高兴，我也亦然。

现在我的英语有了很大进步，在各种比赛中都取得了好成绩。
