学生升入高三后，高考的号角已经吹响，高考的脚步日益加快，可谓时间紧、任务重、压力大。在这非常时期，高效复习显得尤为重要。因此，教师要研究教材，研究高考，把握重点，突破难点，明确考点。下面笔者就“考点”的发散思维这一话题略述管见，以期对备考中的莘莘学子有所帮助。
纵观历年的高考单项选择题，我们不难发现，对同一知识点的考查不断重复出现，只是命题的角度不同而已。这就要求我们在教学中多角度地分析问题，形成发散思维。下面举例说明：（1）祈使句+and/or+陈述句，针对这一句型，可以从三个角度进行设题，一是考查祈使句；二是考查连词and/or;三是考查陈述句中的时态。（2）not ...until...,考查该句型有两点，一是用于强调句中；二是转化为倒装句。
这样的例子有很多很多，不胜枚举。我们从中得到的启发是：对于“考点”的多角度分析能使我们在复习过程中节省时间，节省精力，避免题海战术，把学生搞得疲惫不堪，而且通过比较分析，归纳总结等过程，拓宽思路， “闻一以知十”，引导学生多方位、多视角思考问题和解决问题，形成良好的思维品质，进而使学生感受到成功的喜悦，对学习产生浓厚的兴趣。
对“考点”的发散思维，适宜于词汇、句型、语法等知识点的学习与复习，比如词性转换、同义词的辨析与替代、反义词的归纳、句型之间的转化，一句多译。通过这方面的训练，能使学生牢固掌握基础知识并灵活运用，书面表达也因此得以提升。
以一道高考题为例说明多种表达：
