巧学宾语从句

在初二英语教材的上册,出现了宾语从句的语法知识点,很多同学虽然懂得它们的汉语意思,但并没真正掌握它们的用法。教师应给学生总结知识规律,把所学知识化繁为简,才能使他们保持学习兴趣和高昂的学习热情。现把宾语从句的用法总结为“一二三”和“主现从随便,主过从也过”的顺口溜。具体做法是:

“一二三”是:把一个句子变成宾语从句时,要注意“一语序、二连接、三时态”。

1. 一语序:即宾语从句中从句语序为陈述句语序。eg:

I wonder where he is.

2. 二连接:即在宾语从句中如果从句为一般陈述句,连接词用that,并且that可以省略;如果从句为一般疑问句,连接词用if/whether;如果从句为特殊疑问句,连接词用特殊疑问词。eg:

1).I am sure. / She is Jenny.

I am sure(that)she is Jenny.

2).I don’t know. / Is there a library in your school? I don’t know if/whether there is a library in your school.

3).I’ll show you. / Where is it?

I’ll show you where it is.

2. 三时态:即“主现从随便,主过从也过”。也就是说当主句的谓语动词是一般现在时的时候,从句的时态不受主句限制,而是根据从句的需要选择所需时态;当主句的时态是一般过去时的时候,从句的时态也要变成相应的过去时态。即一般现在时一般过去时;一般将来时过去将来时;现在进行时过去进行时;现在完成时过去完成时等。需特别注意,当宾语从句是客观事实或客观真理时,时态不随主句的变化而变化,永远都用一般现在时。eg:

1).He wants to know. / Will it rain tomorrow?

He wants to know if/whether it will rain tomorrow.(主现从随便,即从句时态不变)

2).He wanted to know. / Does Tom live in China?

He wanted to know if/whether Tom lived in China.(主过从也过)

3).We asked Tom. / What is Wei Hua doing?

We asked Tom what Wei Hua was doing.(主过从也过)

4).The teacher told us. / The earth goes around the sun. The teacher told us (that) the earth goes around the sun.(客观真理时态不变)

总之,在教学中我们应勤于思考,善于总结,多与学生探讨,因为巧妙的教学方法会吸引着学生快乐并有效的学习英语。
