2005年4月17日，浙东春光明媚，新茶飘香，第二届中国宁波国际茶文化节在港城宁波隆重开幕。

第二届中国宁波国际茶文化节由中国国际茶文化研究会、中国茶叶流通协会、中国茶叶学会和宁波市人民政府联合主办，200多位来自全国各地的客商与会，这项茶文化盛事也吸引了广大宁波市民。

第二届茶文化节在宁波亚细亚展览馆6000多平方米的四大展区展出。展馆内各类名茶以及名、特、优、新、绿农产品琳琅满目，展馆内的许多展销人员还穿起了苗族、侗族等少数民族服饰，使展览平添了一道靓丽的风景线，此外，组委会又请来了日本、韩国的茶道表演队以及台湾无我茶会、杭州灵隐寺禅茶表演队、四川雅安龙形十八式表演队等，展览期间他们为客商和市民作精彩的茶道表演。

在国际茶文化节开幕当天，位于宁波市中心月湖景区的袁宅举行了隆重的开园仪式。这里是宁波市新开设的一个专门以茶文化展示为主题的茶文化博物园，在这个茶博园内，陈列了宁波的茶史、茶俗、茶诗词等众多的图片和模型；此外，宁波市还举行《四明茶韵》一书首发式。该书系统介绍了宁波茶业发展的历史、宁波河姆渡遗址的原始茶遗存、汉魏六朝的浙东茶事和唐代茶圣陆羽对四明山名茶的高度评价等。本届茶文化节还专门开辟了余姚茶海撷翠等4条以“生态宁波、人文宁波、时尚宁波”为主题的茶文化旅游线。

宁波是我国古代“海上丝茶之路”的始发地和中国茶文化传播世界的源头之一，去年宁波各类名茶总产量达到5700多吨，茶叶出口达3.36万吨。在本届茶文化节上，来自美国、法国等国家和国内客商、宁波市骨干农业龙头企业代表等100多人参加了经贸合作项目签约，投资贸易额达5亿多元。

2nd Ningbo International Tea Festival

The 2nd Ningbo International Tea Festival raised curtain on April 17, 2005. The event, sponsored by the China International Tea Culture Research Institute, the China Tea Distribution Association, the China Tea Association, and the Ningbo Municipal People's Government, attracted more than 200 business people from all over the country. The event, of course, attracted large groups of local residents.

The exhibition of 6,000 square meters at the Ningbo Asia Exhibition Hall was held in four sections. In addition to tea products of various brands on display, exhibits also included a great variety of farm produces. Some sales people were dressed in ethnic costumes. At the invitation of the organizing committee, performers from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Sichuan, and Hangzhou staged their shows.

Ningbo used to be the point of departure of the Silk Road on the Sea and the city played an important role in distributing tea to other parts of the world. Last year, Ningbo produced 5,700 tons of various tea products, and exported 33,600 tons to overseas markets. At this festival, some 100 business people from other parts of the country and from USA, France etc, signed various economic and trade cooperation contracts with a total investment of more than 500 million yuan.
