一、would rather的常见用法

1. would rather do sth.

意为“宁愿做某事,宁可做某事;更喜欢做某事”。例如:

其否定形式为“would rather not do sth.”意为“宁愿不做某事,宁可不做某事”。例如:

2. would rather do sth. than do sth.

意为“宁愿做某事而不愿做某事;与某事比起来更喜欢做某事”。例如:

I would rather walk there than take a bus.

意为“宁愿做某事而不愿(做)某事”。例如:
