A book Aiming at Filling in the Blanks of Chinese body language

Some body languages are exclusive to some nations, and it is also very different in use. Body Language Dictionary published by the commercial press just fills the blank in this field.

Professor Zhu Yizhi, the compiler of the book, has long been engaged in language research and teaching, and compiled Grammatical Terms Dictionary of Modern Chinese, for Foreigners Learning Chinese Characters, and Status Quo and Review of Research on the Modern Chinese Grammar, Methodology of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, Language Teaching and Research and other books, and wrote a number of papers on Chinese language teaching. This book is evaluated by the authoritative as pioneer in filling the gap in our linguistics, and its originality and academic value and role in the international promotion of Chinese are very important.

Body Language Research at Home and Abroad

It was the book that triggered the extensive study of the issue, and put forward a set of symbols to record Body Language. Some results were also published in China, such as Brief Statement on Body Language by Geng Erling, Action Linguistics by Zhuang Jiyu, and Cross-cultural Non-verbal Communication by Bi Jiwan. But in general, our research in this field still lags behind the West with few published results, and also there is a great difference.
