英语写作常见语病错误包括词法错误、句法错误和语法错误，归纳起来共以下几种情况最为常见。

一、名词直接使用

名词具有数的概念，分为可数名词和不可数名词。可数名词使用时要么变为复数，要么在其前加限定词，如冠词等，但不能独立使用；不可数名词前使用零冠词，可以直接使用。

例1：I’m writing to tell you my uncle is going to your city for conference.

分析：“会议”是可数名词，但受汉语影响，容易直译，忽略冠词，导致名词直接使用。故忽略语法规则，不考虑词汇曲折变化，直接使用原形是致错的根本原因。

二、形容词修饰动词

形容词可置于系动词后作表语，但不能用来修饰动词，单独一个形容词或短语可以作状语。

例2：The message conveyed clear: actions speak louder than words.

分析：受汉语“信息传达的很清楚”影响，按汉语思维直译，导致形容词修饰动词。

参考答案：The message conveyed is clear: actions speak louder than words.

三、介词引导句子

介词不是连词，不能用来引导句子，其后可以接名词作宾语，也可接从句作宾语，还可接独立成分，如with等，但时间状语前不能再加介词。

例3：Despite there is such a big difference in attitude towards what one eats, there is no doubt that people in the west regard the Chinese food as something special.

分析：despite为介词，其后不能接句子，但受汉语词义“尽管”影响，常误当作连词使用。

四、不及物动词后接宾语

不及物动词没有宾语，也不用于被动语态，但受汉语思维影响，常在不及物动词appear/ rise/ wait/ exist/ agree等后接宾语。改正方法有两条，其一是将作宾语的改作主语，作主语的改作介宾；其二是部分不及物动词后可以加介词，改作介宾。

例4：It has been discussed for many years whether the Mars exists water.

分析：受汉语“火星上是否存在水”影响，在不及物动词后接宾语。

参考答案：It has been discussed for many years whether there exists water on the Mars.

五、be动词后接动词原形

be动词后可接形容词、名词、非谓语动词等，但不能接动词原形。在名词性从句中，be动词后的不定式符号可以省略。

例5：With the beautiful moon up in the sky, we love most is enjoy the full moon together.

分析：受汉语“最喜欢的就是去做……”影响，直接按汉语思维对译，出现be动词后接动词原形。同时出现句子作主语无连词连接情况。

参考答案：With the beautiful moon up in the sky, what we love most is to enjoy the full moon together.

六、出现双谓语

一个句子有一套独立完整的主谓结构，有多个谓语动词并列时，可在最后一个谓语动词前使用并列连词，其余用逗号分隔开来。受汉语思维影响，在there be句型中经常出现此类情况；还有用谓语动词作主语，甚至不用连词直接用一套主谓结构作主语或宾语也会出现双谓语情况。

例6：There are many people like making friends online.

分析：受汉语“有很多人喜欢网上交友”影响，直接使用汉语思维翻译，导致出现双谓语。

参考答案：There are many people who like making friends online.或Many people like making friends online.
