京津冀都市圈,占地183704平方公里,占全国总面积的1.9%,人口近八千万,占全国总人口的5.79%。由北京、天津,以及河北组成,地区经济总量约30000亿元,占全国经济总量的9.7%。

Beijing and Tianjin, together with Hebei’s 11 cities, have a gross economic capacity of RMB 3 trillion Yuan, accounting 9.7% of China’s total.

As the world economic barycenter is shifting to the Asia and Pacific region and China’s productivity distribution is moving from south to north, the central government is determined to promote, in policy making and theory, the integrated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei as a whole. “The Great Beijing Strategy” and “New Cradle for China’s Capital” concepts has been raised by Beijing, and, Tianjin also has formed a city space layout named “One Axis Two Straps”, and, Hebei is ready for the coordination and cooperation with Beijing and Tianjin in transportation, industries, zoology and space layout accordingly. Any regular imaginations or expectations about this region will be soon obsolete.

Position itself “the Third Pole” in China, Hebei, the enormous chest of China is pumping heat and energy for China’s new round economic progress. Caofeidian, Tangshan Bay, Cangzhou’s New Coastal Zone, Corridor of Hebei-Tianjin-Shandong…just name a few, are all born from Hebei’s new thinking of its coastal economic strategy as it has a coast region as large as 11, 379.88 sq km.
