MOSTLY As

Brain type: You’re a visual learner.

Tool of genius: Eyes

Max your mind: Maps and pictures help you understand and learn. Look for DVDs on subjects you’re interested in, or surf the net to find pictures to illustrate ideas. Using colors and little doodle-pictures when you revise can help too.

MOSTLY Bs

Brain type: You’re a listening learner.

Tool of genius: Ears

Max your mind: If you’re shot of study-buddies, read aloud to yourself when you’re rising. Use rhymes, rhythms or songs to help you memorise stuff, or tape stuff and play it back. And ask mates to explain anything you don’t get.

MOSTLY Cs

Brain type: You’re a practical learner.

Tool of genius: Whole body

Max your mind: Move around while you’re learning, by pacing or changing positions, and spread note cards or sheets on the floor or walls to make a walk-through learning exhibition. And use drama to act out the things you’re reading about.
